Welcome! We are the earthquake module from the Alaska Summer Research Academy (ASRA). It is a two week program at the University of Alaska Fairbanks. They offer courses in a multitude of disciplines. Our job was to learn more about earthquakes in Denali National Park and the geology of Alaska. Our module stayed at the Murie Science and Learning Center's field camp on the Teklanika River in Denali National Park for five nights. We set up three seismometers and let them sit for three days. While the instruments were collecting data, we went on hikes through the park to see and learn about the geology of the area. Then we collected the seismometers and headed back to the University. There we spent our remaining time reading and analyzing the data. We created this website to compile and present what we learned about seismology, the information we gathered in Denali National Park, and a bit about ourselves.Acknowledgements
